Lots of people cover Miles Davis, but this is the first Miles Davis cover band we know of — Bitches Brew, a collection of Boston-scene veterans and younger players who have formed to work on Miles’ initial “electric period,” from In a Silent Way through Jack Johnson. That’s Saxophonist Steven Branson, trumpeter John Frazee, Fender Rhodes pianist Patrick Battstone, bassist Yusaku Yoshimura, and drummer Ian MacMillan
